This policy explains what detroitoutfit.com collects, why, who else touches it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

Detroit Outfit, an online apparel store based in Detroit, Michigan, USA, operating at https://detroitoutfit.com. For anything in this policy, contact info@detroitoutfit.com.

What we collect when you order

• Contact and delivery details — name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and phone number if you provide one.
• Order details — what you bought, size and colour, price paid, and order status.
• Account details — if you create an account, your username and password (stored hashed, not in readable form).

We need these to accept, produce, and deliver your order, and to talk to you about it afterwards. Without them there is no order.

Payment details

We do not see or store your full card number. Payments are handled on our checkout by our payment providers — card processing, PayPal and Amazon Pay — who receive your payment details directly. We receive only the confirmation that payment succeeded and the last digits or reference needed to identify the transaction.

Who else handles your data

We share the minimum necessary with the services that make an order happen:

• Our print and fulfilment partner receives your name, shipping address and the item ordered, so it can produce and post your parcel. It cannot use that data for its own marketing.
• Payment providers receive your payment and billing information to take the payment and handle any dispute or refund.
• Shipping carriers receive your name and address to deliver the parcel.
• Our website host and email provider store the site and the mail that the site sends.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand your email list to anyone.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary — the ones that remember what is in your cart and keep you logged in. Without those the shop does not work.

We also run third-party measurement and advertising tools on this site:

• Google (Google tag / Google Analytics) — to see how the site is used and how well ads perform.
• Meta / Facebook pixel — to measure and target advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

These tools set their own cookies and can build a profile of your visit that is linked to your Google or Meta account. You can limit this in your browser’s cookie settings, in your Google ad settings, and in your Meta ad preferences.

Marketing email

We only send marketing email to people who asked for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order and shipping confirmations are not marketing — you get those because you bought something.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it (order and tax records, for example);
• stop using your data for marketing.

Email info@detroitoutfit.com and say what you want done. We will not make you jump through hoops.

Children

This shop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
