How a Detroit Outfit order gets made, packed and sent — and what to do when something goes sideways.
Last updated 14 August 2026
The short version: every Detroit Outfit item is printed for you after you order it. That means there is a production step before there is a shipping step. You get a tracking link by email the moment your order leaves the print facility.
We do not hold a warehouse full of pre-printed shirts. Each order is produced on demand at a U.S. print facility and shipped direct to you.
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address, before you pay. You will always see the cost and the available options on the checkout page — there are no shipping charges added after the fact.
If your country or region does not appear at checkout, we cannot ship there yet. Email info@detroitoutfit.com and we will tell you honestly whether it is coming.
Check your address before you confirm. Once an order enters production we usually cannot change the destination, and a parcel returned as undeliverable has to be reshipped at cost. If you spot a mistake, email info@detroitoutfit.com immediately with your order number — if it has not gone to print yet, we will fix it.
If you order more than one item, they may be produced at different speeds and arrive in separate parcels. You are not charged twice for that — it is just how made-to-order fulfilment works.
If tracking has clearly stalled, or the parcel arrives damaged, that is on us to sort out. Email info@detroitoutfit.com with your order number and a photo if there is damage. See Returns & refunds for what happens next.
