Description
Detroit apparel with the city’s own name on it — spelled the way it was spelled first. Détroit, with the acute accent, comes from the French le détroit du Lac Érié: the strait of Lake Erie. That is what the French called this stretch of water in 1701, and the city simply kept the word for the narrows it was built beside.
We print it direct-to-garment on a Gildan 18000 crew neck. It is air-jet spun for a softer face, heavyweight enough for January, and ribbed at the collar and cuffs so it holds shape instead of stretching out. Black, navy and dark heather each give the white type a dark ground to sit against.
Every piece is made to order in the USA when you buy it. Nothing is warehoused, so there is no dead stock and no waste. Allow a few extra days for it to ship.
